Workers may claim compensation if they are injured or become ill at work. Compensation is sent to the worker’s employer address.
What it covers
- Compensation for an injury or disease suffered at work
Who can apply
Report the injury or disease to the supervisor or employer immediately.
Keep the employer informed of address changes and stay in touch.
Contact the nearest labour centre if the employer does not submit forms or the claim takes a long time.
Documents to prepare
W.Cl.2 or W.Cl.1 form from the employer, completed by the doctor
Any other forms provided by the doctor
How to apply
- 1Report the injury or disease to the supervisor or employer immediately.
- 2Get the W.Cl.2 or W.Cl.1 form from the employer and take it to the doctor.
- 3Return the completed form and any other forms from the doctor to the employer.
- 4Keep in touch with the employer and update them if your address changes.
- 5If the employer does not submit forms or the claim takes a long time, contact the nearest labour centre.
