Overview
The Academy of Science of South Africa (ASSAf) is a national body that brings together leading scholars to provide independent, evidence-based advice on matters of public importance. It convenes expertise across disciplines, produces consensus studies and reports, and supports the role of science in policy, education, and innovation. ASSAf also promotes research excellence and knowledge exchange, helping strengthen the quality and impact of South African scholarship locally and internationally.
