Overview
The Western Cape Department: Agriculture supports agricultural growth and rural livelihoods through provincial programmes and services. It works on farmer support, agricultural value chain development, research and extension services where applicable, and measures that improve productivity and sustainability. By enabling inclusive participation in agriculture and strengthening sector competitiveness, the department contributes to food security, rural employment, and a more resilient agricultural economy in the Western Cape.
